After a Proof Of Concept competition, Cornerstone is selected to migrate a business critical application from OpenVMS Pascal to C++.

The application that is being migrated is a high availability national traffic control system in The Netherlands. The application consist of +/- 1.5 million lines of Pascal source code running on a clustered OpenVMS Itanium platform.

The project is to be completed within one year and is done such that there is no impact on ongoing maintenance, in other words there is no code freeze during the project. After project completion a complete set of working and tested C++ source code is delivered that retains 100% of the original business logic functionality.
